The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart. In tests, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard floors. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home. 1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience. The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the push of a button. You can select a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or go for two thorough mappings of your home to ensure that your home has a clean and tidy appearance. This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with the next models. The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be incrementally better than circular models. iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price. Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so that it is aware of areas that require more attention. 2. Roborock Q Revo Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vac settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad. If it comes across a wall or piece of furniture it gently smacks into it before moving on. What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. robotvacuummops -vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background and cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong, such as the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full. You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you could wish for. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects. The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7. This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed. Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, so you can manage it even when away from home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path. The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective. 4. Dreametech L10s Ultra The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types, and it's one of the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are nice to have however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury which could make it a little more expensive than some homeowners require. The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles. On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel has the circular menu which allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop efficiently, without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
